It is with sadness that we announce Professor Jack Sinclair who in conjunction with Professor John Hubbard (University of Otago) founded The Physiological Society of New Zealand in 1972. Jack was the Foundation Professor of Physiology passed away peacefully on Sunday at the age of 91. Jack was a member of the original Medical Committee that oversaw the establishment of the medical programme at the University of Auckland, and was responsible for the establishment and leadership of the Department of Physiology at Auckland.
His funeral is Friday 16th February at 12.00pm – All Saints Chapel, Purewa Crematorium 100-102 St Johns Road, Meadowbank
